clomethiazole
= chlormethiazole; n.
a hypnotic and sedative drug used to treat insomnia, agitation, and restlessness in the elderly and alcohol withdrawal symptoms. It is administered by mouth and the most common side-effects are tingling sensations in the nose and sneezing.
